Orange Blossom Carnival 2019
The carnival, now in its seventh year, took place between April 3-7, 2019. The Orange Blossom Carnival, which had a significant economic impact on Adana and the surrounding region, resulted in substantial increases in revenue for all hotels and restaurants, food and beverage establishments, shops, hundreds of small businesses with stalls, supermarkets, wholesalers and distributors, food producers, and even taxi drivers. The revitalization of domestic tourism through the carnival created a kind of domino effect in almost every sector of Adana's economy. It was reported that the carnival generated a total of 150 million TL in seasonal economic activity in Adana and surrounding cities.
